Every day, hospitality professionals develop knowledge through the work itself.

They build projects, operate properties, evaluate opportunities, lead teams, manage change, develop brands, make investments, and solve problems.

A great deal of that knowledge stays with the people who earned it.

Hospitality Fellows exists to bring more of that knowledge into the open, give it structure, and make it useful to the wider industry.

OUR PURPOSE

Advancing the practice of hospitality.

Hospitality Fellows is a media, research, and ideas platform dedicated to advancing the practice of hospitality.

We bring together practitioner experience, original research, conversations, cases, frameworks, and shared knowledge so people across the industry can learn from one another and contribute to a stronger collective understanding of the work.

We are interested in what experience has taught you

We collect the knowledge that comes from doing the work of hospitality includingprocesses, frameworks, metrics, principles, lessons, questions, and real-world experiences. We give these ideas structure so they can be understood, applied, shared, and built upon by others in the industry.

Who is a Fellow

Experienced people with something useful to contribute.

A Fellow is an experienced practitioner invited to contribute knowledge that can help others understand the work more deeply, from a specific process or framework to a lesson, case, principle, or body of experience.

Fields of Practice

A structure for the work.

Our Fields of Practice organize the knowledge gathered through Hospitality Fellows and create connections between different areas of hospitality.

How the Platform Grows

One contribution can lead to another.

A conversation can reveal a framework. A framework can raise a research question. A research question can lead to new perspectives from other practitioners. Over time, individual experiences become a body of knowledge that can be revisited, compared, and studied.

Have experience to share?

We are always interested in hearing from experienced hospitality practitioners who have developed something useful through their work.
